About This Opportunity
As the Administration and Engagement Officer, you’ll play an important role in supporting the effective delivery of teaching activities, placement experiences, and assessment processes across the Doctor of Medicine (MD) Program. You will work collaboratively with key partners across the Central Queensland Wide Bay Regional Medical Pathway, assisting with Regional Training Hub initiatives and strengthening partnerships that enhance medical education and workforce development in the regions.
Key responsibilities will include:
Coordinate and support teaching, learning, and assessment activities, including scheduling, resourcing, and maintaining accurate student records.
Provide administrative support to students, tutors, and clinical educators, ensuring compliance with University and program policies.
Facilitate communication and engagement through orientation activities, stakeholder collaboration, and student recruitment initiatives.
Assist with examinations, monitor student progress, and support review and Regional Training Hub events in the Central Queensland.

About You
A degree or advanced diploma in a relevant area with at least two years’ relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training.
Demonstrated commitment to and enthusiasm for the provision of excellent client service.
Proven ability to interpret and apply a range of rules, policies and procedures.
Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work well both independently and in a team to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
Excellent problem-solving skills and an ability to demonstrate initiative and good judgement.
Experience in and a commitment to living and working in rural and/or regional Australia is desirable.
The successful candidate may be required to complete a number of pre-employment checks, including right to work in Australia, criminal check.
