About the Role
As our Community Administrative Officer, you’ll be the welcoming face of Youturn and the administrative backbone of our Head Office and many of our amazing teams. This dynamic role combines front-of-house reception duties with high-level organisational and admin support to our leadership team. You’ll help keep the office running smoothly while ensuring clients, visitors, and staff feel supported and respected.
This is a full-time position based in our Nambour Corporate Office, providing essential support across multiple programs that make a real impact in people’s lives.
Key Responsibilities
Reception and front desk management, responding to client, staff, and stakeholder enquiries
Admin support – may include some diary and email management, scheduling meetings, preparing agendas and minutes
Office coordination – managing supplies, meeting rooms, filing systems, and facilities
Ordering and maintaining office supplies, kitchen stock, and stationery to ensure the workplace is well-equipped
Assist clients and community members presenting at the Corporate Centre in a respectful and helpful manner
Support the Community Services leadership team with a range of organisational tasks and projects
What You’ll Bring
Minimum Certificate III in Community Services or Business or 2–3 years’ experience in office administration
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
A professional, compassionate approach when working with vulnerable people
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Mandatory Requirements
Current 'C' Class Open Driver’s Licence
Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
Eligibility for a Licensed Care Suitability Check

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional and respectful approach to working with diverse people, including vulnerable individuals.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a busy team environment.
Experience in managing and ordering office supplies.
