Workfast is seeking experienced Excavator Operators to join the earthworks and civil construction team on a major renewable energy infrastructure project in Merotherie, NSW.

Pay Rate: $44.00 p/hr + Overtime + Super
Location: Merotherie, NSW
Hours: 6:30am start, 10–12 hour shifts
Start Date: ASAP

This is a long-term opportunity working on a Tier 1 solar project, performing detailed and bulk excavation, trenching, and site preparation to support large-scale renewable energy development.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Operating 14t to 22t excavators for bulk and detailed earthworks
• Performing trenching, backfilling, topsoil respread, and loading trucks
• Conducting material handling and excavation for solar infrastructure
• Working safely around other plant, spotters, and civil crews
• Completing daily pre-starts and machine checks
• Supporting civil works and assisting the site team as required

What You Need:

• RII Excavator Licence (RIIMPO320F – Conduct Civil Construction Excavator Operations) – Essential
• White Card (Construction Induction)
• Current Driver Licence and reliable transport
• Minimum 2 years’ experience operating 14t+ diggers on civil or infrastructure projects
• Proven safety record and ability to work in a team environment
• Additional plant tickets (Roller, Loader, Telehandler) advantageous
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test
