Dynamic Sports Technology (DSTech) is a Queensland-based electrical contracting company specialising in sports lighting, field infrastructure, and commercial electrical installations. As our business continues to grow, we're seeking an Electrical Services Manager to lead our electrical division — overseeing project delivery, team performance, and client relationships.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Director, the Electrical Services Manager will take responsibility for the operational, financial, and technical performance of our electrical services division. You'll lead a skilled team of tradespersons, apprentices, and subcontractors to deliver high-quality projects on time, on budget, and to the highest safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee planning and delivery of electrical projects, including sports lighting and field infrastructure upgrades.

Manage and mentor staff to maintain efficiency, safety, and workmanship quality.

Monitor labour performance and job profitability against budgets.

Contribute to estimating, tendering, and securing new project opportunities.

Maintain strong client relationships and ensure smooth communication from start to finish.

Ensure all work complies with the Electrical Safety Act, AS/NZS 3000 Wiring Rules, and company safety standards.

About You

Current QLD Electrical Mechanic Licence (mandatory)

Minimum 5 years' experience in electrical project management, supervision, or similar leadership role

Experience in sports lighting project management is preferred

Strong understanding of job costing, scheduling, and performance management

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Experience with job management software (e.g., simPRO)

Electrical Contractor Licence (desirable or ability to obtain)

Australian work authorisation is required for this position
