Project Coordinator - Timber Flooring
We are seeking a Project Coordinator to join our team, working closely with our Sales and Operations Manager.
This role sits at the centre of our workflow — managing project timelines, logistics, and communication between clients, installers, and internal teams.
You'll be the organisational hub that ensures jobs move smoothly from quote approval through to delivery and installation, keeping everyone informed and everything documented.
Key Responsibilities
Scheduling & Coordination
Manage and update the installation calendar in coordination with builders, installers, and delivery teams.
Monitor project progress to ensure timelines are met and changes are communicated promptly.
Liaise with installers and site supervisors to confirm start dates, deliveries, and readiness.
Logistics & Operations
Coordinate materials, deliveries, and site logistics.
Work with the stock and accounts teams to align stock availability, delivery schedules, and invoicing stages.
Identify potential conflicts in scheduling or logistics early and assist in finding solutions.
Notes & Record Keeping
Maintain accurate records in Monday.com and job folders, ensuring all quotes, approvals, and notes are properly documented.
Record important decisions, site details, and communication updates throughout each project.
Communication
Act as a key contact for builders, installers, and drivers regarding schedules and updates.
Provide clear, professional, and timely communication both internally and externally.
Support clients when required in the showroom or via phone/email, maintaining the high standard of service our brand is known for.
Key Skills and Attributes
Strong organisational and multitasking ability — able to juggle multiple active projects.
Proactive and solutions-focused mindset; a self starter.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Confident dealing with builders, trades, and delivery teams in a fast-paced environment.
Construction or building industry experience is preferred but not required.
High attention to detail and pride in maintaining accurate records.
Resilient under pressure and adaptable to changing priorities.
Tech-savvy: proficient with Excel, Monday.com (or similar project software), and general admin tools.
Positive, team-oriented attitude — someone who brings good energy to the group
