LET’S EXPLORE THE JOB
As part of our Supply team, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe operation of our warehouse, including receipting, storing, and issuing materials to internal customers across Council.
You will provide friendly and professional customer service, maintain accurate stock records, and ensure materials are delivered where and when they are needed. Working collaboratively in your team, you’ll uphold our values of safety, excellence, and integrity in everything you do.
This role also offers the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and departmental projects, supporting the smooth operation of our stores and logistics functions.
Your key focus areas are.
Deliver excellent service while providing materials, support and information to meet the needs of our customers
Undertake the manual handling aspects of the store operation including safely receiving, issuing, delivering and storing materials
Administration tasks such as maintaining accurate records using our electronic inventory control system, including receipting, reconciling and issuing of goods
Safely operate plant and equipment including vehicles, forklifts, pallet jacks and hydraulic trolleys
Assist with the delivery and pickup of internal mail and materials

You’re someone who takes pride in being organised, dependable, and service focused. You enjoy hands-on work in a team environment and understand the importance of accuracy and efficiency in a warehouse setting.
Your background includes experience in warehousing, logistics, or inventory management, and you’re comfortable using computer systems to manage stock and records. A strong communicator, you build positive relationships and deliver excellent service to both internal and external customers.
Specifically, you will have:
Demonstrated ability to deliver a high level of customer service
Proven ability to work effectively and cooperatively within a team environment
Transport and Logistics Certificate II or equivalent experience and qualifications in a relevant discipline such as warehousing
Experience in warehousing including picking, selecting, receipting, stocktaking and issue of materials
Experience in working with a point of sale or inventory management system
Drivers Licence.

Competitive salary from $61,740 to $71,751 a year plus 12% superannuation
Commencing salary set in line with skills and experience with annual reviews available to support movement through the salary range
Adverse working conditions allowance per hour
Enterprise Agreement pay increases apply
38-hour work week with a nine-day fortnight
