Quest Shepparton is now recruiting for a Casual Front Office Receptionist to join it's friendly and warm team.
The Role
Involves all aspects of Front Office reception, including providing friendly, personalised customer service in responding to accommodation enquiries, promoting the business to achieve accommodation sales, processing reservations and ensuring full and accurate data capture, assisting corporate and leisure guests (e.g. check in, explaining hotel facilities and location, check out), and ensuring the smooth running of the reception desk.
This role is also required to work a rotating roster of on call night shifts, accommodation onsite is provided for these shifts and will work in with the candidates availability and standard roster.
The Ideal Candidate
Will demonstrate a passion for customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all guests, strong skills in promoting and selling accommodation services and facilities, excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills, experience with front office booking systems, a keen eye for detail, high standards of personal presentation, and a highly team orientated ethos. Have confidence to action situations as per policy and procedure on an independent basis.
Training will be provided on our front office booking systems for the successful candidate.
Previous front office reception experience in a hospitality, travel or tourism environment would be highly regarded, as would other types of customer facing roles e.g. retail.
A minimum of 6 months customer service experience is preferred for this position.
The successful applicant must be available to work a range of shifts Monday to Friday, Weekends & Public Holidays, and have entitlements to work in Australia. General shift times will be from 7am-3pm, and from 2pm- 10pm. The successful applicant would also be required to stay overnight on site when required, several days a week as per the above.
Overnight on-call shift arrangements will be flexible and worked around a standard roster.
