At Enbarr, located inside Auntie Annie’s Hotel in the heart of Flemington, we serve exceptional modern Australian food with a nod to Irish and European flavours. We’re open Thursday to Sunday and are building a passionate team that loves great food, creativity, and consistency.
We’re now looking for a Full-Time Sous Chef to join our kitchen — someone who’s driven, reliable, and ready to grow with us.
What You’ll Do
Work closely with senior chefs to deliver and maintain high standards in food prep and service.
Bring your passion for food and flair for presentation to every plate.
Help design and write menus, create daily specials, and contribute to social media content.
Maintain top kitchen hygiene and food-safety standards (HACCP knowledge essential).
Support stock management, ordering, and basic kitchen budgeting.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
Solid knowledge of modern Australian and Irish/European cuisine.
Great time management and communication skills.
Confident in plating and finishing dishes for photos/social media.
Keen eye for detail, creativity, and a positive attitude.
