We are partnering with a respected, long-established boutique Chartered Accounting firm in West Perth to appoint an Assistant Manager - Tax & Business Services. This pivotal growth role is designed for a rising star ready to take on greater responsibility and leadership, with a clear trajectory to Manager.

What You'll Be Doing:

Diverse Client Portfolio
Work with a range of clients, including family-run enterprises, complex agribusiness and farming groups, not-for-profits, and high-net-worth individuals.

Strategic Advisory Focus
Move beyond compliance into high-level strategic advisory, including:

• Complex tax structuring and tax minimisation strategies (CGT, FBT, international tax)
• Succession planning and structural reviews
• Business performance and improvement advisory

Leadership & Mentorship

Act as the key link between Partners and the team, managing end-to-end client engagements while guiding and mentoring junior accountants.
About You

• CA/CPA qualified, with at least 4 years' experience in Australian public practice
• Strong technical expertise across Australian taxation law (Income Tax, CGT, FBT) and business advisory
• Proven leadership capability, including workflow management and file review experience
• Confident communicator with the ability to build trust and advise clients directly
