$110,000–$120,000 + Super | Full-time | Perth-based (Hybrid after 3 months)

The Opportunity
Our client, a growing and respected higher education institution with a global footprint, is looking for a capable and motivated academic professional to join their Perth-based HQ. If you bring strong HE experience in operations, compliance or academic administration, this is a rare chance to shape impact at the intersection of quality, governance and the student lifecycle.
About the Role
You will work closely with the Student Support and HE Administration Managers to ensure daily operations run efficiently and regulatory obligations are met. The role is hands-on across governance, compliance reporting, student systems, and academic operations. After a structured onboarding period, there is potential for the Student Success and HE Admin teams to report into this role, depending on your experience and performance.
You will collaborate with key internal stakeholders and academic boards while helping maintain the institution’s strong TEQSA, CRICOS and PRISMS standing.
Key Responsibilities
Support academic governance processes, including BoS and BoE documentation
Assist with TEQSA/CRICOS applications and compliance reporting (e.g. TCSI, PRISMS)
Analyse and respond to student feedback (QILT, internal surveys)
Maintain the HE academic calendar and student lifecycle processes
Assist in academic appeals, complaints, and graduation documentation
Oversee course data, lecturer onboarding, and academic meetings coordination
Liaise with internal academic boards and prepare quality reports
Potential line management of key teams following probation
What We’re Looking For
5+ years in higher education administration, governance or compliance
Strong knowledge of TEQSA, CRICOS, PRISMS, and TCSI frameworks
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
Proven ability to manage workflows, solve problems, and improve processes
Strong stakeholder communication and coordination skills
Experience in quality assurance or academic reporting highly regarded
Desire to grow into a leadership position
