Accountant – Growing Marine Engineering Business (Henderson, WA)

Key Responsibilities

Lead month-end accounting and reconciliations.

Prepare management reports for Directors and senior leaders.

Manage cash flow forecasting and liquidity.

Analyse costs, identify trends, and lead cost review meetings.

Train managers to interpret and use financial data effectively.

Drive improvements in reporting and finance processes.

Coordinate budgets, forecasts and financial models.

Oversee BAS lodgments and liaise with tax advisors on compliance.

Manage insurance renewals and broader business risk.

Ensure compliance with legislation, financial standards and internal controls.

Support internal and external audit activities.

Preferred Qualifications

CPA or CA qualified (or working toward).

Experience with ERP systems such as Pronto, NetSuite, or Odoo.
