F & J Bitumen Services is a locally owned and operated company specialising in road maintenance, bitumen, and asphalt works across the Northern Territory. We’re seeking a reliable and motivated Yard Person to assist with day-to-day operations at our yard based in Darwin.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with general yard duties including cleaning, organising, and stock control

Load and unload materials, equipment, and supplies safely

Assist in preparing vehicles and equipment for upcoming projects

Maintain compliance with WHS requirements, ensuring the yard, workshop, and storage areas are kept safe, clean, and hazard-free

Conduct basic safety checks, report hazards, and follow safe work procedures at all times

Support the Workshop and Operations teams as directed

Requirements

Current driver’s licence (HR licence desirable but not essential)

Forklift ticket Required

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Physically fit and willing to assist where required

Commitment to safe work practices

Able to abide by WHS
