F & J Bitumen Services is a family-owned and operated company specialising in bitumen sealing, asphalt, and road maintenance projects across the Northern Territory. We’re looking for experienced Tipper Drivers, Spreader Truck Operators, and Labourers to join our team for upcoming works throughout the NT.

Positions available for both local Darwin-based workers and FIFO opportunities from Darwin to remote NT locations.

About the Role

You’ll work as part of a professional road sealing crew on a variety of civil projects.
Key responsibilities include:

Operating Tipper and Spreader Trucks during spray seal operations safely & efficiently

Assisting with aggregate spreading, and labouring duties

Conducting daily plant and vehicle checks and maintaining cleanliness

Following safety protocols and promoting a positive team culture

Supporting daily site operations and movements

Coordinating closely with site supervisors and crew members

Performing pre-start checks daily on plant / equipment

Assisting with roadworks, including patching, sealing and surface preparation

Working in remote and region project locations as required

Ability to assist in other roles if required on the field (eg Labouring, roller driving etc)

Full time positions available based on experience

What We’re Looking For

Experience in the industry minimum 2 years

Current HR licence (minimum/ mandatory) – Higher is desirable

Roller ticket, Bobcat ticket, loader ticket etc - Highly desirable

White Card (Construction Induction) - Mandatory

Physically fit and reliable, with a strong focus on safety and teamwork

Willing to travel and work remotely when required and adapt to changing conditions

Able to undergo a pre medical assessment

Strong communication skills and a positive attitude

Able to work in hot and challenging environments
