Call Centre Operator
Rate: $37.39 an hour plus super
Type: Ongoing Contract
Hours: Full-time, Mon-Sun Roster, 7 hours a day, 35 hours a week
Location: Maitland
To note: We are sourcing for MULTIPLE positions. The successful candidate will require 2 weeks of full-time training. After completing the requirements, there will be an 8-12 week nesting period of ongoing support. Training will be in normal business hours, Monday-Friday. No leave can be taken during this time unless approved.

Your new role
The successful candidates will be placed on a rotating roster, Monday-Friday.
After completing training, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Answering inbound calls, addressing queries, and providing accurate information to clients
- Providing excellent customer service
- Using multiple government systems, entering data, and navigating multiple screens
- Meeting KPIs
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in a government or call centre role (highly desirable)
- Previous experience in customer service, administration or similar role (essential)
- Excellent communication skills, able to 'smile through the phone'
- Tech-savvy, the ability to pick up systems quickly and navigate across multiple government programs
- Successful candidates may need to complete a police check
