Security Contact Centre & Call Centre Operator: Australian Consolidated Communications/ Oz Tech Security

Oz Tech Security and our sister company Australian Consolidated Communications provide 24 hour security alarm monitoring and Contact Centre Management Solutions to the corporate market. We are looking to expand our team in our head office in Wollongong with experienced, professional and self motivated individuals. We are currently looking to fill both Full time and Part time roles within our organisations with an immediate start.

This is a dynamic and very fast paced role providing both business hours and after hours security and call center services to a range of industries Australia wide. We are looking for applicants that can keep calm in a busy work environment and are confident handling multiple competing priorities. Only those with experience and abilities in such an environment will be considered.

The Position:

Conducting inbound and outbound calls in a fast paced environment

Data entry into contractor programs

Dispatching technicians to facility maintenance jobs

Monitoring of security alarms and dispatching of security personnel

Booking in security quotes and service calls

Dispatching patrol officers for alarm responses

Comprehensive paid training

Motivated, enthusiastic and friendly staff

Essential:

Past experience in a call centre environment or security control room

Appropriate telephone skills to build a professional rapport with customers.

Demonstrate competent computer skills, including touch typing with a priority on accuracy over speed.

Comfortably work in a fast paced environment with multiple competing priorities.

Having the ability to undertake multiple tasks whilst actively listening to assist in resolving customer needs.

Demonstrate outstanding communication skills and customer service.

Be able to work on a 24/7 rotational roster, including weekends and public holidays.
