PERSOL are in partnership with one of our clients and are looking for Emergency Call Centre Agents to join their 24/hour team based within Sydney's Eastern suburbs. Your role will be to provide exceptional customer service experience.
This is a high volume and fast paced role in which you are required to provide accurate connections to Police, Fire and Ambulance dispatchers across the country at the request of the customer. You will be required to follow strict protocols and procedures to ensure every call is taken quickly, efficiently, and correctly. Calls are KPI measured and high-quality service must be provided on every call.
We are looking to hire multiple Team members who are available to commit on AFTERNOON (from 1pm) and OVERNIGHT (from 930pm) shifts, most especially during the Christmas and New Year's. These roles will start by 01 December 2025. All shifts are 8h with 30-min lunch break.
There is also an opportunity to work full-time hours.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Answering calls from all over Australia
- Efficiently connecting all emergency calls to Police, Fire or Ambulance dispatchers
- Provide consistent and high-quality service
- Ensuring customers are treated with an empathetic approach
- Must be available during the holiday (Christmas to New Year's) period
- Complete a minimum of 3x shifts per week: 3x AFTERNOON or 3x OVERNIGHT shifts. Full time hours are also available.
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE
- Previous customer service experience ideally within a contact centre or face to face environment.
- A stable working history
- Positive and resilient outlook
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A "Can Do" attitude
