About the role

Storey & Gough Lawyers seeks a talented Legal Secretary to join their dynamic team in Parramatta, NSW. This full-time position is integral to supporting the firm's legal professionals and ensuring the efficient operation of the office.

What you'll be doing

Providing high-level executive assistance to our senior partner, including diary management, travel arrangements, document drafting and general administrative support

Overseeing the day-to-day office operations, including managing supplies, coordinating facilities, and supervising administrative staff

Liaising with clients, other legal firms, barristers, court staff, and other departments to ensure seamless communication and a positive client experience

Assisting with filing, document management, and other legal-specific administrative tasks

Contributing to the implementation of office policies and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity

What we're looking for

Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar legal secretarial, personal assistant, or office managerial role

Experience in litigation, particularly the Land and Environment Court jurisdiction

Experience in preparing Wills and estate planning documents

Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organisation

Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite and other office software, with a willingness to learn new systems and technologies

Working of knowledge of Leap software is preferrable

Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality, accurate work

Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently to find solutions
