We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Disability Support Worker or AIN to join our team in supporting a male participant located in Liverpool with a C5 incomplete spinal cord injury (quadriplegia).

This role requires someone confident in high intensity care and committed to providing safe, respectful, and person-centred support.

About the Role

You will be assisting with:

Personal care and manual handling (full assistance required)

Bowel and bladder management

Skin integrity monitoring

Use of BiPAP machine and assistive equipment

Maintaining hygiene, comfort, and daily routines

Supporting overall health and wellbeing in accordance with clinical care plans

Qualifications:

- Certificate III, IV or Diploma in Disability, Health sector or Individual Support.

- Previous experience in a similar role.

- Compassionate and patient demeanor.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to adapt to diverse needs and situations.

- Knowledge of disability rights and advocacy a plus.

MUST HAVE:

Certificate III (or higher) in Individual Support / Disability / Aged Care

Experience with high-intensity supports (manual handling, bowel care, catheter, BiPAP, skin integrity, etc.)

NDIS Worker Screening Check

First Aid and CPR Certificate

Manual Handling training

Infection Control and NDIS Orientation Modules'

COVID-19 vaccination (as per current guidelines)
