About the role
I’m looking for someone with a background in building materials, architecture, design, or interiors – someone who enjoys helping people choose the right product and who can back that advice with sound technical knowledge.

You’ll be the main contact for architects, builders, and retail customers.
You’ll manage the showroom, handle inbound enquiries, provide quotes, and follow up with clients to make sure their projects run smoothly.

It’s a mix of customer service, inside sales, and product advice, perfect for someone who loves variety and takes pride in doing things well.

What you’ll be doing

  • Welcoming trade and retail clients in the showroom and helping them find the right product for their project
  • Managing phone and email enquiries and converting them into sales
  • Building relationships with architects, designers, and builders through follow-up and service
  • Keeping the CRM up to date with quotes, activity, and customer details
  • Working closely with the wider team to ensure a great customer experience from start to finish

What I’m looking for

  • Experience in sales, customer service, or showroom support within building materials, paint, or construction
  • An interest in architecture, design, or sustainable products
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly
  • Well-organised, reliable, and comfortable managing multiple enquiries
  • Someone who enjoys working as part of a small, close team
