Avery Reconstructive and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery

and

Avery Aesthetics.

Avery Reconstructive and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery is a boutique plastic surgery practice, that supports people to make the medical and aesthetic choices that are right for them, without judgement and always with safety and ethical decision making at its core.

Avery Aesthetics is a skin health medical clinic with a luxury medispa feel and is dedicated to skin wellness through premium laser, light, and other treatments.

Specialist Plastic Surgeon, Dr Gary Avery (FRACS) is the Clinical leader of both services, and we are located in the heart of Newcastle’s East End.

The Role

This role is the core of both services. A new position has emerged due to maternity leave in the future and one of our beautiful team can no longer work full time due to personal circumstances. Therefore, we are looking for our newest Avery Care Coordinator to join our team of experienced and passionate individuals. There are currently 14 of us.

You must work all under pressure - both arms of Avery are incredibly busy and we need a superstar to help our tight knit team continue to provide outstanding patient and client care.

As an Avery Care Coordinator, you are the point of contact for our patients from the very beginning (first phone call) and throughout their journey with Avery.

You will be connecting with our patients over the phone and in person, liaising with external providers such as hospitals and health funds, project work, facilitating clinical photos and treatments, scheduling surgeries and skin health appointments, and managing a busy and evolving appointment schedule across both services. You will have the ability to do all this with a high level of care and compassion for our patient’s experience. You MUST be an organisational whizz with the ability to make people feel at ease and your team supported.

You love being busy and can cope with a high volume of work that is varied and requires different skill sets in action.

You have excellent communication skills verbally and through the written word. You are articulate in person and own paper.

You thrive in a collaborative team environment. You are a big picture person who understands and is aware of what your individual contribution means to the whole team.

The essentials - You must have:

At least 3 years in an administrative role - with clear stability in your employment history.

A personality that loves dynamic fast paced environments.

You must want to work in this type of industry, but with an organisation that stands out because of it's values and ethics.

You must be ready to commit.

Salary

We realise knowing what the remuneration is for this role will be important to you, however at Avery whether you are the right fit for our team is the most important element we are looking for. Your experience will dictate what we are prepared to offer you, the unique individual you are. A rate between 35ph to 42ph is a starting point. We invest disproportionately in you for the first year - this role is a lot to learn.

So our first goal is to look at whether you are right for Avery (and vice versa whether Avery is right for you!), and then explore what remuneration package reflects your experience to date and expectations for the future given the role.

NOTE: We will consider a 4/5 day week or 9/10 fortnight. Please indicate your preference on your cover letter if it is not full time.
