We are URGENTLY seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter who is looking to join our team and is passionate about delivering high performance.

About the role:

· We're looking for an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our team on a permanent full-time basis (Monday to Thursday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm with a 1pm finish on Friday).

· $98,000 - $103,000 per year

· In this hands-on role, you'll perform routine maintenance procedures and assist in quick troubleshooting and repairing any mechanical problems that arise in manufacturing processes and equipment.

· You must have full working rights in Australia to be eligible for this role.

What You'll Be Doing

As our new Maintenance Fitter, you'll be the heartbeat of our production line, making sure everything runs like clockwork. Your role will include:

· Diagnosing and resolving equipment issues to minimise downtime

· Performing preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance on equipment and machinery.

· Setting up machines and fine-tuning production machines

· Diagnose and repair mechanical and basic electrical faults.

· The successful candidate must have the capability for basic electrical troubleshooting only, without requiring advanced repair or circuit work.

· Ensure equipment is safe and compliant after servicing or repair.

· Supporting upgrades and capacity improvements

· Advise production operators in basic equipment care and maintenance

· Ensure WHS compliance.

Equipment You'll Work With

· Lathes and mills

· Hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical presses

· Air compressors and roll forming machines

· Guillotines, saws, bandsaws, grinders

· Material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, strapping machines)

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience as a Maintenance Fitter, or Mechanical Fitter in an industrial, manufacturing, or processing environment with 3+ years' experience.

Demonstrated ability to perform fault finding and corrective maintenance on equipment (e.g., machines, gearboxes,)

Familiarity with manufacturing machinery and workshop tools

Skilled in operating the lathe machine and doing basic machining jobs

Skilled in pneumatics and hydraulics.

Proficient in troubleshooting mechanical faults.

An understanding of mechanical drawings, schematics, and maintenance manuals

Basic welding experience for minor mechanical repairs and fabrication (desirable)

Proven ability to work safely in environments with chemicals and around moving equipment

Familiarity with isolation and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures (desirable)

Confidence working independently and managing your time

A forklift licence — or we'll help you get one!

What You'll Bring

Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering (Fitting & Machining or Diesel Fitting)

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Desirable Qualifications

· Valid Australian Driver's Licence
