Maintenance Technician – Pharmaceutical Manufacturing (Day Shift)
Lane Cove West, NSW
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Up to $58phr /$115,000 + Super + Bonus + OT + Benefits

Their Lane Cove West facility specialises in sterile liquid filling and packaging, operating under cGMP and cleanroom standards.

The Opportunity We’re seeking an experienced and hands-on Maintenance Technician to join a dedicated team of four technicians at the Lane Cove West manufacturing site.
This full-time, day shift role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a technical, fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining equipment performance and reliability. You’ll use your mechanical and problem-solving skills to ensure uninterrupted production through corrective, preventative, and predictive maintenance practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment, utilities, and critical systems (e.g. purified water systems, HVAC, autoclaves, boilers, and packaging machinery)
- Diagnose and repair faults to maintain continuous production flow
- Conduct root cause analysis and report maintenance findings to management
- Coordinate maintenance activities with external service providers
- Maintain accurate work records and documentation in the CMMS within a cGMP-compliant environment
- Support plant improvements and ensure all work is performed safely and efficiently
About You
- Purified water systems
- Filling and packaging equipment
- Boilers and autoclaves
- HVAC and trade waste systems
- Trade qualification (Mechanical) with 3+ years’ experience in equipment maintenance
- Previous experience in liquid filling, pharmaceutical, medical device, veterinary, or food manufacturing environments
- Desirable - Understanding of cGMP principles and working in cleanroom conditions
- Hands-on knowledge of:
- Experience using Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external contractors
- Full Australian working rights are essential
