Maintenance Electrician – | FMCG Manufacturing
Central Coast - Berkeley Vale
Up to $47.11/hr + shift loadings + $110 per week in allowances ($5,720 per year)

Afternoons Monday to Friday 2pm - 10pm - 15% shift loading
or
Nights - Sunday to Thursday, 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM - 30% shift loading

This is a great opportunity for a qualified Maintenance Electrician to join a supportive and safety-focused Maintenance & Reliability team on a permanent afternoons or night shift.

About the Role You’ll be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving plant equipment in a fast-paced FMCG environment. The position involves hands-on electrical and automation work, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting to keep production lines running efficiently.

What You’ll Do

• Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on plant and packaging equipment
• Diagnose electrical faults and implement permanent fixes
• Complete new installations and equipment upgrades
• Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
• Maintain accurate records in the CMMS system
• Work safely and collaboratively with production and maintenance teams

What You’ll Bring

• Electrical Trade qualification (mandatory)
• Experience in FMCG or food manufacturing (preferred)
• Strong fault-finding and PLC troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
• Hands-on experience with industrial automation systems
• Reliable, safety-focused, and a strong team player

Pay & Benefits

• Up to $47.11/hr (Level C) + shift loading
• Electrician allowance – $80/week
• Tool allowance – $28/week
