About the Role
Working as part of a close-knit maintenance team, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the reliability of production equipment through preventative and breakdown maintenance, fault finding, and supporting new equipment installations. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ideal for someone with a background in food or FMCG.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on plant machinery
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Respond to breakdowns to minimise downtime
• Assist with machinery installations and continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain accurate maintenance records using CMMS systems
• Ensure compliance with WHS, HACCP, and GMP standards

What We’re Looking For

• Trade-qualified Fitter (Cert III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade or equivalent)
• 3–5+ years’ experience in a maintenance role (food/FMCG highly regarded)
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Hands-on welding, grinding, cutting, and fabrication skills (TIG welding advantageous)
• Experience with CMMS systems (MEX preferred)
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Current working rights in Australia
