Maintenance Fitter Leading Chemical Manufacturer

We're seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician / Mechanical Fitter to ensure the smooth, safe, and efficient operation of plant equipment and machinery across a modern production facility.

What You'll Do
•Carry out preventative, corrective and emergency maintenance on production and plant equipment.
•Diagnose faults on pumps, motors, gearboxes, blowers and other rotating equipment.
•Support plant reliability through planned shutdowns and improvement initiatives.
•Maintain accurate maintenance records using a CMMS (MEX or similar).
•Uphold strong safety standards and contribute to continuous improvement across site.
•Maintain workshop, boiler, air compressor and MCC rooms to a high housekeeping standard.

What You'll Bring
•Trade qualification as a Fitter / Maintenance Technician (or equivalent).
•Proven experience in an industrial, manufacturing or processing environment.
•Solid fault-finding, troubleshooting and mechanical repair skills.
•Experience with preventative and predictive maintenance routines.
•Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.
•Commitment to working safely with chemicals, confined spaces and moving equipment.
•Strong attention to detail and reliability in completing maintenance records.
