Position Overview: As a Bookkeeper at Armour Homes, you will play a vital role in maintaining our financial records accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company's financial transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing Accounts Department

- Preparation of BAS/IAS monthly and quarterly

- Cashflow Management

- Understanding of Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss

- Liaising with Accountants about financial and tax matters

- Bank Reconciliation

- Reconciling general ledger accounts and ensuring the accuracy of financial data

- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel

Managing accounts payable & receivable

- Managing AP ensuring timely payments

- Managing AR payments are paid on time

- Inputting Invoices and allocating to correct jobs

- Credit Card Reconciliation

- General Administrative duties

Managing Payroll

- Processing Wages, including calculating wages, deductions, and taxes using BEAMS Construction Software.

- Setup new employees

- Calculating employee entitlements

- Lodging Payroll Tax, PAYG

Generating and analysing financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

Qualifications & Ideal Candidate

Must have minimum 3 to 5 years of proven experience in bookkeeping or similar role.

Proficiency in any construction accounting software, BEAMS advantageous

Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Relevant Cert IV, Diploma or Degree in Accounting/Finance

Must have Australian work rights
