We’re seeking an experienced Cook to join our close-knit kitchen team and help deliver a fresh, high-quality menu our customers love.

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for preparing and cooking breakfast and lunch dishes, ensuring quality, presentation, and speed of service meet café standards. You’ll work closely with the owner and front-of-house team to deliver a smooth and enjoyable dining experience.

Key Duties

Prepare, cook and plate breakfast, brunch and lunch menu items

Maintain portion control and quality consistency

Follow food safety and hygiene procedures in line with NSW Food Authority standards

Assist with menu development and daily specials

Manage kitchen stock, inventory rotation and cleanliness

Work efficiently under pressure during busy café hours (weekends & mornings)

Skills and Experience

At least 2 years’ experience as a Cook or similar role in a café or restaurant

Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification (preferred)

Excellent understanding of food hygiene and safe-food handling

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Positive, proactive and team-oriented attitude

Availability for early morning and weekend shifts
