We are seeking a proactive and experienced WHS Risk & Compliance Officer to lead and support our commitment to providing a safe and healthy workplace for all students, employees, contractors, and visitors. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working both strategically and hands-on - ensuring compliance, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a strong safety culture across our college.

You’ll be able to:

Coordinate and implement our College’s Work Health and Safety policies, systems, and procedures.

Support our staff to meet legislative and organisational WHS obligations.

Conduct and facilitate incident investigations and safety audits.

Deliver WHS inductions, toolbox talks, and safety training.

Monitor and report on WHS performance, trends, and compliance.

Promote consultation and communication on safety matters across all levels of the College.

Ensure all safety documentation and reporting is accurate and up to date.

Do you have?

A tertiary WHS qualification (and/or equivalent experience).

Demonstrated high-level specialist knowledge and experience with WHS, RTW, Risk and Compliance legislation and practice.

Proven experience in a WHS coordination or advisory role.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - able to influence and engage staff at all levels.

Strong attention to detail, organisation, and follow-through.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
