We are currently seeking a Senior Safety, Wellbeing & Return to Work Consultant to join our team for a duration of up to 18 months.
Renumeration: ASO6 ($97,022 p.a.– $102,626 p.a.)
About the Opportunity
As the Senior Safety, Wellbeing & Return to Work Consultant, you will be responsible primarily for RTW Coordinator requirements and contributing to Work, Health, Safety and Injury Management (WHS&IM) system programs and services for DTF. You will deliver outcomes through applying a business partnering approach and work with branch managers, Safety & Wellbeing Consultants, People & Culture Business Partners, and staff to ensure DTF meet their Return to Work and WHS legislated obligations.
You will also liaise with Work Injury Services staff, unions and management in relation to claims progress, rehabilitation, RTW plans and investigations.
About you
What you will need to succeed:
Experience in preparing and delivering sensitive information and advice to a range of audiences with honesty and integrity.
Ability to establish and maintain strong and productive working relationships and to liaise effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
Significant experience in coordinating, delivering and reviewing WHS and RTW programs and projects.
Significant experience coordinating, monitoring and evaluating RTW claims including liaising with service providers, claims managers, management, staff and in relation to investigations, claims progress, rehabilitation and RTW plans.
Working knowledge of the Return to Work Act 2014, Work Health and Safety Act 2012 (SA), as well as other related legislation, policies and procedures.
