About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and passionate Work, Health and Safety (WHS) Business Partner to join our People & Culture team. The role will partner with our teams and key leaders across the organisation to develop and embed WHS systems, processes and frameworks that promote a safe working environment for all.
The role will also act as the Return to Work (RTW) Coordinator internally and be responsible for partnering with injured workers and external bodies to support effective return to work outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and maintain WHS systems, policies, and procedures aligned with aged care legislation.
Establish deep working relationships with Key Leaders across the organisation
Act as Chair for enterprise-level Work, Health and Safety Committee to ensure organisational risks and improvements are being tabled and actioned accordingly.
Conduct risk investigations and maintain WHS risk registers.
Act as CCH’s designated Return to Work (RTW) Coordinator to support safe and timely RTW outcomes.
Be an active participant in identifying and supporting outcomes to minimise risks and hazards across all sites and services.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across WHS and injury management practices.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to promote a culture of safety and wellbeing.
What You’ll Bring
A passion for promoting and embedding a culture of safety and wellbeing across organisations.
A working knowledge of relevant Work, Health and Safety and workers compensation legislation in South Australia.
Ability to act as the Return to Work (RTW) Coordinator, supporting safe and timely RTW outcomes.
Passion for partnering with our people and developing deep working relationships to understand and deliver on business outcomes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence at both an operational and Executive level.
