Forte Healthcare is a fast-paced, forward thinking, family-owned company specialising in the design and manufacture of healthcare mattresses. We have an enthusiastic team of of approximately 40 staff spread across sales, administrative and manufacturing roles at our facility in Armidale NSW. Our range of medical mattresses, cushions and accessories are sold right across Australia and New Zealand.

About the Role

This position will be based in our office at 10 Ribbon Gum Avenue, Armidale. It will combine a mix of physical and administrative duties.

Daily duties include;

Purchasing

Maintaining product data base

Maintaining and creating accurate stock control forecasts

Placing and following up supplier purchase orders

Managing incoming shipping, including imports

Warehouse Management

Actioning all incoming goods, checking and marking off as required

Quality checking raw materials and coordinating returns of faulty product

Keeping storage of raw materials tidy, well organised and labelled

Managing monthly stocktakes, ensuring structure and accuracy

About You

The successful candidate will be;

Prepared for a unique mix of physical and administrative work, with proven experience in both. This role requires physical strength and excellent computer skills

Hard-working, driven and willing to learn and take on new challenges.

Simple but effective. Keeping things well organised but not overcomplicated

Skills:

Proven computer skills (particularly microsoft excel, outlook and accounting packages)

Forklift licence (highly beneficial but can be provided for a candidate strong in other areas)

Eye for detail and passion for keeping things organised
