International Meat-Trading Company and Accredited Meat Exporter is looking for an experienced MYOB Certified Bookkeeper to join their growing team.

The MYOB Certified Bookkeeper will be responsible for supporting Anymeat’s accounting activities, including weekly/month end processing and reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, client invoicing, and debt management. They will also foster an environment of best practice and continual improvement with accounting processes, systems, and reporting.

Reporting to the Managing Director, key accountabilities of the role include;

Preparation and ongoing management of balance sheet reconciliations.

Management of weekly client invoices, assisting with processing payments to vendors, allocating incoming payments.

Assisting with credit control for overdue accounts, and error management.

Matching company bank statements with the financial records to identify and correct any discrepancies.

Month and year-end close, including statutory accounts and audit and risk papers.

Supporting internal reporting requirements, including monthly management reports, and other business essential reports.

Driving a continuous improvement culture across finance, helping realise opportunities that deliver efficient and effective processes.

Contribution to key projects within and outside of core role.

Support and contribute to the success of the broader team.

Assisting in the development and management of operational risk registers across the business.

Qualifications and Experience

Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.

MYOB Business Certification/s.

Deep knowledge and experience with MYOB AccountRight.

Experience in financial accounting with a strong understanding of Australian accounting principles and regulatory standards.

Ability to manage multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, fostering collaboration across teams.
