We’re seeking a capable and motivated Bookkeeper / Office Assistant to join our team and provide additional support to the CFO and finance division. This role offers the opportunity to work across a variety of financial and administrative functions, contributing to both day-to-day operations and strategic business performance.
You’ll be involved in all areas of bookkeeping, reporting, and office support, helping to ensure the smooth running of the business and assisting with broader operational tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Financial and Reporting
Financial and cash-flow reporting
GST and BAS preparation and lodgement
Bank reconciliations
Payroll processing (including Superannuation)
Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reporting
Accounts payable and receivable management
Monthly and quarterly financial reports to the CFO
Asset register maintenance
Development of monthly KPIs and performance reports
Preparation of marketing data, export submissions, and forecasting support
System and process improvements
Administration and Office Support
General administrative assistance across all departments
Booking travel, accommodation, and logistics for technical and management staff
Liaising with suppliers, contractors, and service providers
Assisting with documentation, record-keeping, and compliance tasks
Managing incoming correspondence, calls, and scheduling for the CFO
Providing PA support to the CFO as required
Contributing to the coordination of team meetings and company events
About You
Essential Skills & Experience
Minimum 2+ years’ experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
Proven experience in payroll processing (including Superannuation)
Strong communication and relationship-building skills, particularly with suppliers
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Experience preparing BAS/IAS
Organised, proactive, and comfortable working across multiple priorities
Highly Regarded
Proficiency in accounting and office software, including:
MYOB
Xero
Microsoft Excel
Outlook
Experience in reporting, KPI development, or performance analysis
