We're coming to New South Wales! Area 51 is a fantastic family entertainment centre in Queensland with four locations, with rapid expansion and NSW is the place to be.

As the Area 51 Venue Manager, you are the gatekeeper to an enriching and dynamic environment. Your purpose is to ensure our diverse range of engaging venue is upheld, by overseeing staff training and managing the ongoing safety of our equipment in order to keep top-notch quality. By fostering a culture of continuous improvement, you contribute to the growth and development of our centre, team and the children we serve. Your meticulous planning ensures a seamless blend of education and entertainment, creating an atmosphere where children thrive, learn, and create lasting memories in a safe and stimulating setting. Strong food and beverage knowledge is crucial to the success of this role.

Responsibilities are as follows but not limited to:

Rostering of all floor staff and cleaning staff: Delegate responsibility of area supervision to staff

Compliance with adequate staffing levels

Opening and closing of premises

GX replies for all issues: Resolving conflicts or complaints from customers and floor attendants

Accident reporting and analysis

Maintains a high standard of professionalism and customer service, listens effectively to others, and adheres to strict confidentiality with customer and employee information at all times.

Training, motivating and coaching employees as they provide attentive service to customers, assessing employee performance and providing helpful feedback and training opportunities.

Training of use of equipment: Ensure staff members follow company policies and procedures

Fortnightly 121’s

Maintenance of equipment

Day to day running of play equipment and maintenance schedules

Stock levels of spare equipment

Equipment cleaning schedule

Actively contributes as a team member to move the team toward completion of goals.

Ability to reconcile daily takings and recognise financial constraints to work within the areas budget

Health and Safety of site

Strong understanding of food and beverage
