Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists for an Account Manager to join the Sydney team, managing a thriving portfolio of trade and commercial customers across Southern Sydney, Wollongong, the South Coast, and ACT.
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you’ll play a key role in growing market share within the residential and commercial sectors by promoting the company’s extensive solar and energy product range. You’ll act as the primary point of contact for installers, retailers, and EPCs — helping them source components, design efficient systems, and deliver high-quality renewable energy projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage and nurture long-term relationships with existing trade customers across solar retail, EPC, and installation channels.
- Identify, qualify, and secure new business within both residential and commercial solar markets.
- Provide technical and commercial guidance on solar panels, inverters, batteries, and EV charging systems.
- Deliver accurate quotations, proposals, and sales forecasts, ensuring pipeline transparency in CRM systems.
- Liaise with operations and warehouse teams to coordinate logistics, stock levels, and order fulfilment.
- Gather market intelligence and competitor insights to inform regional sales strategy.
- Collaborate with supplier partners to conduct joint product training sessions and client presentations.
- Represent the company at trade expos, industry events, and technical workshops.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across sales and service delivery.
This is a hands-on, relationship-driven role suited to a motivated salesperson who enjoys blending technical know-how with customer engagement and business development.

Candidate
- Proven experience in B2B or B2C sales, account management, or business development within the solar, renewable energy, or electrical distribution industries.
- Understanding of PV systems, battery storage, and EV charging technologies.
- Experience selling to solar retailers, EPCs, and installation contractors.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with a customer-centric approach.
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to manage a broad sales territory.
- CRM proficiency (Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent).
- Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel regionally within NSW and ACT.
