Account Manager – Renewable Energy Distribution (Brisbane – South & Toowoomba Region)

  • Solar retailers, who supply residential and small commercial customers.
  • Installation contractors and electricians, who perform the technical and physical installation work.
  • EPC firms (Engineering, Procurement & Construction), who manage larger commercial and industrial solar projects from design through to commissioning.

Opportunity

As part of its Queensland growth strategy, the company is seeking an experienced Account Manager to drive customer engagement and revenue growth across South Brisbane, the Gold Coast, and Toowoomba regions.

This is a pivotal position focused on building long-term trade relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and helping customers deliver high-performance solar solutions. You’ll represent one of the country’s most trusted renewable energy brands, providing both technical and commercial support across residential and commercial applications.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage and expand an existing portfolio of B2B customers including solar retailers, EPCs, and installers.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities across the residential and commercial solar markets.
  • Present product solutions and system configurations to help customers achieve best-value outcomes.
  • Support customers with quoting, product selection, pricing, and project scoping.
  • Coordinate with internal logistics and warehouse teams to ensure smooth supply and delivery.
  • Deliver training sessions and product demonstrations in partnership with supplier representatives.
  • Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and customer feedback to shape regional sales strategies.
  • Attend solar trade shows, supplier roadshows, and professional events to build brand awareness.
  • Maintain accurate CRM data, forecasting, and reporting to track sales performance.

This is a hands-on, field-based role ideal for someone who enjoys combining sales development with technical product engagement in a fast-growing, future-focused industry.

Candidate

  • Experience in renewable energy, solar distribution, or electrical technical sales.
  • Sound knowledge of solar panels, inverters, batteries, and EV charging systems.
  • Demonstrated success managing trade or commercial client portfolios.
  • Strong technical aptitude and commercial acumen.
  • Excellent relationship-building and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and comfortable managing a broad sales territory.
  • CRM proficiency and data-driven approach to reporting.
  • Current driver’s licence and flexibility to travel across South-East Queensland.
