Lead Data Engineer required to lead a team in delivering solutions to migrate data from legacy systems to Snowflake for a leading finance business.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior business leaders to gather requirements, advise on target solutions architecture and tooling
  • Lead a team of 3-4 Data Engineers
  • Develop and implement ETL solutions using Glue and Airflow to migrate from legacy SAS/Informatica system to Snowflake

Requirements

  • extensive data Engineering background, with experience working in an AWS environment
  • solid experience working on Snowflake platform
  • strong data integration skills using Airflow and Glue
  • experience working in a technical leadership capacity, advising on appropriate tools and technologies
  • solid team leadership experience
