About the role

We are seeking an experienced Cafe Manager to join our fantastic team at Parkdale Beach cafe. This full-time role will see you oversee the day-to-day operations of our busy beachfront cafe, ensuring friendly prompt customer service and the efficient running of the venue. As Cafe Manager, you will play a key strategic role in driving the growth and success of our thriving hospitality business.

What you'll be doing

Manage and lead a team of passionate hospitality professionals

Oversee all front-of-house and back-of-house operations, including inventory management, rostering, and financial reporting

Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer experience and drive sales

Foster a positive and productive work culture, supporting and developing your team

Ensure strict compliance with all relevant health, safety, and food safety regulations

Collaborate with the broader business to identify opportunities for growth and improvement

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years' experience in a cafe or restaurant management role

Demonstrated success in leading and motivating high-performing teams

Excellent customer service skills and a genuine passion for the hospitality industry

Strong financial management skills, with the ability to analyse data and implement data-driven strategies

Exceptional time management and multi-tasking abilities

Thorough understanding of food safety and regulatory requirements
