Client & Operations Coordinator (Part-Time, 4 Days)

Monday–Thursday | Aura (Baringa), QLD | $33–$37/hr + Super (approx. $65,000–$75,000 FTE)
Join a friendly, growing local business that helps schools, resorts, and families maintain safe, healthy spaces.

About Us

At Family Friendly Group, we’re proud to deliver reliable and professional carpet cleaning, pest, and termite control services across the Sunshine Coast, Gympie, and Brisbane regions.
Through our divisions, School Friendly, Resort Friendly, and Home Friendly. We create cleaner, safer environments for students, guests, and families while maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and care.

We’re a family-owned business with a strong reputation for quality and communication, and we’re now seeking a Client & Operations Coordinator to join our small, friendly team based in Aura (Baringa).

About the Role

This position is Monday to Thursday, ideally 8:30am–4:30pm (flexible hours can be discussed, i.e. 9:00am – 5:00pm or 8:00am – 4:00pm).
You’ll be the organised and reliable person who keeps everything running smoothly coordinating multiple technician schedules, communicating with clients, and ensuring compliance documentation is always up to date.

You’ll work mostly independently from our quiet, modern office in Aura, often managing your day-to-day tasks solo. This role suits someone who’s self-motivated, focused, and enjoys working in a calm environment without constant supervision.

You’ll also have the opportunity to learn about our services from carpet and upholstery cleaning to pest and termite management so you can confidently support clients and technicians across our schools, resorts, and homes divisions.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate daily and school holiday technician schedules across our service area.

Communicate directly with schools, resorts, and homeowners to answer questions, provide information, confirm bookings, access, and reporting requirements.

Prepare and send quotes, invoices, and compliance reports when required.

Maintain company compliance records

Support technicians with job details, supplies, and documentation.

Manage phone and email communication professionally.

Oversee and follow up on recurring service schedules (e.g., quarterly pest inspections, annual cleans).

Keep the office tidy, stocked, and digitally organised.

Initial Employment Period

The first six weeks of employment will be offered on a casual basis, allowing both you and Family Friendly Group to ensure this role is the right long-term fit.
During this time, you’ll receive full training and support to learn our systems, service types, and compliance processes.

After the initial six weeks, the position will transition into a permanent part-time role (Monday–Thursday).
There will also be the opportunity to work additional casual Fridays during school holiday periods, when our school and resort service schedules are busiest.

What You’ll Bring

Excellent organisation and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and stay productive in a quiet office environment.

Confidence interacting with clients and field technicians.

Strong attention to detail, especially for scheduling and documentation.

A genuine interest in learning about our services and compliance processes.

Computer literacy (email, Excel, PDFs, Xero or similar).

Calm under pressure, especially during busy school holiday periods.

Experience in administration, service coordination, or trades/facilities scheduling will be highly regarded but training will be provided for the right person with the right attitude.

What We Offer

4-day work week (Monday–Thursday) for true work–life balance. (option Fridays throughout school holiday periods)

$33–$37/hr + super, depending on experience.

On-the-job training in our systems and services.

A supportive, family-oriented workplace that values independence and initiative.

A professional but relaxed environment, ideal for someone who enjoys working quietly and efficiently.

Opportunities for long-term career growth as we continue expanding across schools, resorts, and domestic clients.

How to Apply

If you’re organised, self-motivated, and enjoy variety in your day, we’d love to hear from you.
