Work from home, sell the best thing a dog owner can buy, and watch your pay scale with your skill. Walkys Dog Training Academy is growing and we want a phone-first closer to turn warm enquiries into $148/week trainer-led memberships—the program that transforms chaotic pups into calm legends.

Why you’ll love this

You’ll run fast, clean sales calls with proven scripts, daily coaching, and tight support. Hit the gas on new leads (we flood your queue), close the right people, take payment on the call, and celebrate real results: better-trained dogs and a fatter commission statement. Weekly in-office sessions (Wollongong) keep you sharp; everything else is remote.

What you’ll do (the fun part)

Own the call. Qualify, present, handle objections, and enrol. Keep speed-to-lead tight (inside 5 minutes during rostered hours), follow up like a pro, and keep notes clean in the CRM. Aim for ≥40% close on showed appointments and treat every “maybe” like a “not yet.”

What you’re selling (it’s not daycare)

A trainer-led dog school: each visit includes 1-on-1 work with a qualified trainer, structured socialisation, outdoor exercise, enrichment, impulse control and obedience. Owners get photo/video progress updates. Fixed weekly or fortnightly spots in Wollongong and Shellharbour. Our promise: not stoked by week 4? We send Head Trainer Nath for a free in-home 1-on-1 and reset the plan.

You’ve got 6+ months of phone sales (memberships/subscriptions preferred), sharp comms, ruthless follow-up, coachability, and pride in your scoreboard. You're fine coming into Wollongong weekly. You like dogs, people, and winning. Australian work rights required.

Pay & perks

Base salary: $59,102/year (38 hrs @ $29.91/hr) + superannuation

UNCAPPED COMMISSIONS on new memberships (details at interview)

Hours & location

Rostered weekdays with occasional Saturday spikes. Remote WFH most days + weekly Wollongong training/meetings. You’ll serve members across Wollongong & Shellharbour.
