We are now seeking an experienced Beverage Service Manager to oversee Melbournes' hidden Irish Whiskey Bar within our venue The Fifth Province in St Kilda; our charming pub reminiscent of the classic haunts found in Galway or Dublin. You will work closely with the Venue and Assistant Venue Manager to ensure the smooth running of the business and provide exceptional service to our Whiskey Bar members and customers. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a supervisory role at a busy pub or bar with a focus on high end spirits and have a passion for the hospitality industry.

What you will be doing:

Leading the Whiskey Bar team in offering top-tier member and customer experiences

Overseeing the management of staff; sharing your knowledge through education and training as required

Contributing to the growth, product range and event offerings of the Whiskey Bar

Maintaining a consistent atmosphere that is on brand with the venue

Ensuring the maintenance of our exceptional venue standards in relation to cleanliness and presentation

Creating and nurturing a positive work environment so that all team members can thrive

What we are looking for:

Hospitality supervisory experience, with a focus on high end spirits

Strong leadership and team management skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Great customer service skills and the ability to resolve conflict and handle customer complaints effectively

Flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
