About the role

Trent Morgan Automotive is seeking a full-time Mechanic to join our team in Orange, NSW. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. What you'll be doing

Diagnose and repair faults in a variety of vehicle makes and models

Carry out routine maintenance and servicing procedures

Replace worn or faulty parts and components

Test and inspect vehicles to identify and address any issues

Maintain detailed records of all work completed

Contribute to the efficient and effective operation of the workshop

Adhere to all relevant safety standards and protocols

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications in automotive mechanics, such as a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology

Proven experience as a Mechanic, preferably within the automotive industry

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality work

Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and best practices

A current driver's licence and your own tools
