About the role

Pratek Automotive Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Arndell Park, NSW. As a full-time Diesel Mechanic, you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing heavy vehicles and machinery, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.

What you'll be doing

Diagnosing and repairing various diesel-powered equipment, including trucks, buses, and other heavy-duty vehicles

Performing scheduled maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tune-ups, and brake inspections

Troubleshooting and repairing electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems

Maintaining detailed records of all work performed

Adhering to all safety standards and procedures

Providing excellent customer service to clients

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications in Automotive Diesel Mechanics or a related field

Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, preferably in the heavy vehicle industry

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong communication and customer service skills

Valid driver's licence
