ABOUT THE ROLE
As part of a small and supportive team, you’ll play a key role in shaping how we communicate with our community across digital platforms, media, and publications.
Collaboration is key — you’ll work closely with teams across the organisation to help inform, engage and inspire.
In this role, you will research, write and edit high-quality content for newsletters, websites, presentations and publications. You’ll contribute to social media campaigns, online content and printed materials.
Key responsibilities include
Produce internal announcements, newsletters, annual reports and leadership messaging (speeches and talking points)
Manage day-to-day social media activity and support the creation of engaging digital content, including website updates
Coordinate consistent branding and messaging across all channels
Assisting with the creation of promotional materials, reports and presentations
Administering SharePoint and internal message boards
Provide general communications support for the HR team
SELECTION CRITERIA (address these in your cover letter)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in copy writing for publication
Experience in projects, events, or community services
Able to work independently and autonomously to meet deadline
Able to be flexible in managing workload
Desirable
Aboriginality
Qualifications in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism or similar field
Experience in working alongside Aboriginal People
PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
WA Working with Children Card
Police Clearance (dated within the last 3 months)
WA Drivers Licence
