The Opportunity
The Learning and Development branch is seeking Learning and Development Officers to join our highly motivated and vibrant training team based at Innaloo. Primarily you will deliver and evaluate systems-based learning and development programs that contribute to the achievement of the goals and objectives of DTMI’s Driver and Vehicle Services business unit. As a member of our team, you’ll be encouraged to embrace challenges and discover innovative solutions to improve training outcomes. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced individual who possesses knowledge and experience of adult learning principles, to design and deliver training to a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
You may also be required to occasionally travel to regional sites to deliver training.

There is currently one (1) Fixed Term Full-Time opportunity with the possibility of extension or permanency.

A detailed CV that clearly outlines the skills and experience you have gained in relation to the job description; and
A written statement (maximum two (2) pages) addressing only the following selection criteria (SC):
(SC1) Sound knowledge and understanding of adult learning principles and competency-based training and assessment, including the ability to design, implement, present, and evaluate training and development programs.
(SC2) Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering systems-based training and experience in database and records management.
(SC3) Well-developed verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to liaise and negotiate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
The CV must also include the names and contact details of two (2) referees who can comment on the applicant’s ability to satisfy all the Essential Work-Related Requirements. Applicants should nominate at least one immediate (most contemporary) supervisor/manager unless exceptional circumstances exist.
