About the role
The Senior Procurement Officer is responsible for conducting college procurement management in accordance with the Financial Management Act, Treasurer’s Instructions, Accounting Standards, Government Procurement, Treasury, Western Australian Procurement Rules, policies and controls.
Essential Criteria:
Demonstrated experience in procurement for a government agency or large organisation
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the standards, Acts, policies and Treasurer's Instructions and government regulations pertaining to procurement management and reporting
Proven ability to work both independently and in a collegiate manner, and demonstrate high level communication and interpersonal skills within the organisation and with other government agencies
Proven proficiency in the use of software applications and computerised procurement systems for accounting transactions and reporting
Demonstrated ability to manage an organisation-wide procurement management platform
