Account Executive – Insurance Broking
Location: East Melbourne | Hybrid: Tue–Thu in the office | Salary: $85–90k + Bonus

We’re looking for a motivated Account Executive to join our clients growing insurance broking team. This is the perfect opportunity for an Assistant Account Executive ready to step up or someone with a couple of years’ experience seeking to manage their own book and grow their career in a supportive, privately-owned brokerage.

About the Role:

• Manage a portfolio of SME clients, including liability, professional indemnity, business packs, trades, ML, and cyber insurance around $300-350k
• Provide high-quality client service primarily across phone, email and face to face meetings
• Work closely with directors and the wider team to deliver tailored insurance solutions and manage policy renewals efficiently.
• Opportunity to grow your portfolio with a structured bonus plan in place with targets for different growth targets
• Be part of an innovative environment implementing AI tools to streamline renewals and compare policies.

About You:

• 2+ years insurance broking experience, ideally in SME or commercial accounts.
• Strong client service focus with excellent communication skills.
• Driven to grow your own book and take on responsibility.
• Comfortable learning new technologies and adapting to innovative workflows.
• Tier 1 or Tier 2 qualified
