WHS Advisor – Renewables Project | Tamworth (6 month contract)

An exciting opportunity for an experienced WHS Advisor to join a major renewables project in Tamworth with a company well-known in the renewable energy sector. This is an ongoing contract role requiring hands-on safety management and support across site operations.

• 6 month contract
• Up to $65 per hour
• 10 hour days
• Monday - Friday with some Saturday work
• Start ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and implement WHS compliance and risk management strategies across the project.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and safety inductions for staff and contractors.
• Provide advice and support on incident management and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with project teams to maintain high safety standards.

Requirements:

• Proven WHS experience, ideally within construction or renewable energy projects.
• Ability to drive to and from the site daily.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant WHS qualifications (e.g., Cert IV WHS) and training.
