Public Sector People are working with a government organisation in Brisbane, who are seeking an experienced A04 Human Resource Advisor on a 3 month contract + extension.

Key Responsibilities

• Workforce Reporting – Support the region with the provision of human resources related data, providing regular, accurate and meaningful reports to enable the Senior Leadership Team
• Conversions process – managing temporary to permanent conversions, calculating service eligibility, liaising with Directors, Managers and Staff, and preparing briefs and letters
• Maintain a working knowledge of current human resource legislation, regulations, policies, procedures and practices
• Provide training, support and informal mentoring/coaching to other Region employees with a view to building workforce capability

About you:

Government/public sector experience and be proficient in systems such as Aurion

• Available to start immediately.
• Demonstrated experience delivering end-to-end HR services in a dynamic environment
• High-level interpersonal skills with the ability to engage, consult and influence stakeholders
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with a flair for clear and concise advice
