The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Programs Coordinator to lead and manage the delivery of our Adult and Children’s programs in Townsville. You’ll play a critical role on our leadership team, ensuring high-quality service delivery, strong team performance, and meaningful participant outcomes.
This is a dynamic and hands-on role with responsibility for coordinating day-to-day program operations, managing and developing staff, driving innovation, and ensuring compliance with NDIS and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership and operational oversight for adult and children’s program delivery
Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of support staff
Ensure all programs align with participant NDIS goals and person-centred care practices
Oversee program design, rosters, and resources to meet service needs and compliance
Manage onboarding and intake processes for new participants
Identify and act on opportunities for program growth and development
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure quality outcomes
Review program performance, including budgets, reporting, incidents, and participant feedback
Promote a culture of safety, accountability, inclusion, and continuous improvement
About You
You are a motivated, strategic, and people-focused leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You bring operational experience and a genuine passion for improving lives through community-based programs.
Essential:
Experience in program coordination, education, social work, community services, or related fields
Proven ability to lead and supervise teams effectively
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong organisational, planning, and problem-solving capabilities
Current First Aid & CPR certificate
Current Yellow Card (NDIS Worker Screening) & Blue Card (Working with Children)
Unrestricted QLD Driver’s Licence
Sound knowledge of the NDIS
Highly Regarded:
Experience working within NDIS-funded environments
Strong administrative, reporting, and rostering skills
Ability to manage budgets and align service delivery with funding ratios
